We will review the evidence of quality improvement, educational, behavioural and organisational interventions that can affect the ability of health care professionals to deliver effective health care. These interventions have been prioritised by NHS colleagues as central to supporting good governance, innovation and its dissemination, and effective care.

We will strengthen the links between Cochrane reviewers and those faced with implementing evidence based solutions to deal with the problems facing the health service (e.g. pressure on acute beds, improving access to health care and promoting evidence based practice).

We will support EPOC reviewers in the UK through mentoring and providing technical assistance.
