Funding

We have a number of fully funded scholarships (all fees and living expenses) for students from developing countries:

 ExxonMobil Scholarships in Global Health Science

Applicants from the following countries are invited to apply for the ExxonMobil Scholarships in Global Health Science:

Angola, Cameroon, Chad, China, Equatorial Guinea, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and UAE.

There is no separate application form for these scholarships but you would need to specify in the 'Proposed Funding Arrangements' of the application form exactly which scholarship you would like to be considered for and tick "applied for" under the status box.  Decisions regarding these scholarships will be made by the MSc admissions committee.

Application deadlines: Friday 6th January 2012, Friday 9th March 2012

 Li Ka Shing Scholarships: for Chinese applicants ONLY

There is no separate application form for these scholarships but you would need to specify in the 'Proposed Funding Arrangements' exactly which scholarship you would like to be considered for and tick "applied for" under the status box.  Decisions regarding these scholarships will be made by the MSc admissions committee.

Application deadlines: Friday 6th January 2012, Friday 9th March 2012

 MRC Studentship (Partly-funded)

It is likely that there will be one MRC studentship for a student from the UK/EU.  There is no separate application process.  You would need to specify "MRC studenthip" in the 'Proposed Funding Arrangements' of the application form and tick "applied for" under the status box.  The selection panel will decide whether or not to put your name forward to the Divisional Funding Panel.  The MRC studentship will cover a living stipend, college fees and a proportion of the tuition fee.
